Creamy, colourful, lactose-free and vegan, our sorbets are much more than frozen treats. They are an invitation to experience flavour in its purest form.

They capture all the intensity, freshness and bright flavour of the fruit. Each spoonful reveals the natural beauty of an ingredient that has been carefully selected, precisely crafted and elevated without artifice.

At Qwelli, our sorbets are created to awaken the senses and celebrate indulgence at its most refreshing.

Fruit at the heart of every creation

Why do we offer sorbets in our gelaterias? Because you love them, they bring people together and they showcase the richness of our exceptional ingredients.

It must be said: at Qwelli, we love sorbets. In fact, our gelato artists love incorporating them into your qwelli (our flavour combinations). Sorbets awaken the taste buds, refresh the palate and pair beautifully with the rich creaminess of gelato.

And our sorbets never go unnoticed at our stores. They add eye-catching colour and delight the senses. Their vivid natural colours light up the display case, creating a spectacular presentation season after season.

Taste above all

If every bite of Qwelli sorbet is surprisingly fresh and intense, it is because nothing is left to chance. It all begins with the quality and quantity of fruit purées we use. Our production process allows us to bring out their full potential. This unique expertise helps us achieve the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity.

Another challenge when making sorbet: achieving a smooth, creamy texture without any fat. At Qwelli, we rise to the challenge. Our sorbets are so creamy that some customers mistake them for gelato!

Classics and standout creations

Some flavours have become part of Qwelli’s DNA. Raspberry, lemon, mango—our first three sorbet recipes—have become timeless favourites. But Qwelli is always looking ahead. Every new creation is an opportunity to push our limits.

One of the creations we are proudest of is Choco72, a surprisingly rich, lactose-free and vegan dark chocolate sorbet. Using real chocolate wafers is essential to us. With its deep, intense flavour, this unique sorbet allows those who cannot enjoy chocolate ice cream or gelato (whether because of allergies, intolerances or personal preferences) to enjoy this much-loved flavour.

Another must-try summer favourite: our strawberry-basil sorbet. Fresh, herbaceous and bold, it embodies our desire to explore unexpected pairings. At Qwelli, we love working with fresh herbs, and pairing fresh basil with strawberry is a perfect example.

Twenty years of perseverance for a taste of sunshine

If one sorbet has truly put our team to the test, it is our Fresh-Squeezed Orange sorbet. We have been working on it for 20 years. Like all citrus fruits, oranges can be difficult to work with because of their high-water content. Today, we have finally created a perfectly balanced recipe with a natural flavour and, most importantly, the signature smooth texture of Qwelli sorbets.

The result? Sorbet that tastes just like freshly squeezed orange juice.
Try it once and you’ll be hooked!

A freezer full of dreams

At Qwelli, we never run out of ideas. Some remain dreams for now, such as ground cherry, date or fig sorbets—flavours more commonly found in Europe that may one day make their way into our stores.

Others, such as blueberry sorbet, will soon be introduced. It will be just like biting into freshly picked blueberries. We promise a local treat that is familiar and comforting.

And another surprise is in the works for the more curious palates. A fresh, flavourful blood orange sorbet will join our product range.

A thousand and one ways to enjoy sorbet

Qwelli sorbets may shine in a cone or cup, but they are also pair beautifully with summer cocktails. A splash of amaretto over lemon sorbet is a chic and refreshing aperitif.

A vegan frutashake made with mango and raspberry sorbet is the perfect frozen drink for a hot summer day.

At Qwelli, sorbet is about more than a single scoop. It can be combined, transformed and become part of the moments you savour. For us, it is an integral part of a joyful, indulgent summer lifestyle.

Gelato, ice cream, sorbet: what’s the difference?

Wondering what the difference is between sorbet, ice cream and gelato? We’re here to help.

Traditional ice cream is made with cream and eggs, served at -18 °C and has air content of 50 %. Meanwhile, gelato has less cream and more milk, with an air content of 20 %, which gives it a denser texture and more pronounced flavour. It is served at -13 °C, allowing its full range of flavours to come through.

As for sorbet, it is dairy-free and made with water and fruits, giving it its distinctive freshness.

At Qwelli, each product has its own personality. But together, they create flavour combinations that bring out the best in one another.

An invitation to fruity joy

Qwelli sorbets are more than desserts or summer treats; they are emotions to be savoured. Behind every flavour is the same goal: to create joy!

Craving freshness and joy? Visit us in store and create your own qwelli by combining your favourite sorbets with our signature gelatos.

Let colour, flavour and intuition inspire you. That’s where the magic happens.
